This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how U⁺Plus Pte. Ltd. (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, protects, transfers and otherwise processes Personal Data in connection with the U⁺MOSHIMO mobile application and all related websites, features, communications and services (collectively, the “Service”).
We are committed to handling Personal Data responsibly and in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”) and other applicable privacy and data-protection laws.
Privacy Highlights
These Privacy Highlights summaries important aspects of this Policy. Please read the full Policy below for complete information about how we handle Personal Data.
| What U⁺MOSHIMO does |
U⁺MOSHIMO is a digital-vault service that allows Users to store information and configure its future disclosure criteria to Recipients designated by them. |
| How disclosure may be triggered |
If no further activity is recorded during the configured Inactivity Period and the User does not respond to Safety Check during the Final Disclosure Waiting Period, the Service may proceed according to the User’s instructions. Non-response is not proof of death, incapacity, disappearance or danger. |
| Who may receive information |
Registered Data may be disclosed to Recipients designated by the User through the Disclosure Workflow, or where disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law. |
| How we protect information |
We do not access, monitor, inspect or review the contents of Registered Data in the ordinary course of operating the Service. Access by our personnel is restricted and may occur only where legally required or reasonably necessary to address exceptional security or technical issues. |
| What U⁺MOSHIMO does not do |
We do not sell Personal Data, use Registered Data for advertising, operate as a cryptocurrency wallet, or transfer ownership of assets. |
| Your choices and rights |
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access to or correction of their Personal Data, withdraw consent where applicable, manage Recipients and request Account deletion. |
1.1 This Policy applies to Personal Data that we collect, uses, discloses, stores, transfers or otherwise processes in connection with the Service.
1.2 This Policy applies to Users, prospective Users, Recipients, authorised representatives, individuals who contact us, individuals whose Personal Data is contained in Registered Data, and any other individual whose Personal Data is processed through the Service.
1.3 By creating an Account, accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that this Policy has been made available to you. Where consent is required for a particular collection, use, disclosure or transfer of Personal Data, we will obtain that consent through the Service or another appropriate method.
1.4 This Policy should be read together with the U⁺MOSHIMO Terms of Use and any additional privacy notice, consent request or other notice presented through the Service in relation to a particular feature or processing activity.
1.5 Third-party services used in connection with the Service may process Personal Data under their own privacy policies. This Policy does not apply to a third party’s independent processing, except where that third party acts as a service provider or data intermediary on our behalf.
2.1 “Account” means an account created to access and use the Service.
2.2 “Personal Data” means data about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data together with other information to which we have or are likely to have access, whether or not the data is accurate.
2.3 “Registered Data” means information, content or material that a User inputs, uploads, stores, configures, links or transmits through the Service, including messages, notes, instructions, images, documents, structured information, settings and related metadata.
2.4 “Recipient” means a person designated by a User to receive access to specified Registered Data through the Disclosure Workflow.
2.5 “Inactivity Period” means the period configured by the User and measured from the User’s last recorded activity through the Service. When that period expires without further recorded activity, the Service begins sending Safety Checks.
2.6 “Safety Check” means a communication sent through the Service requesting the User to respond and confirm continued activity, including any reminder relating to that request. An Safety Check does not constitute an independent determination by us that the User is safe, unsafe, incapacitated, missing or deceased.
2.7 “Final Disclosure Waiting Period” means the additional period configured by the User that begins when Safety Check are initiated. If the User does not respond before that period expires, the Disclosure Workflow may proceed.
2.8 “Disclosure Workflow” means the technical and operational process through which specified Registered Data may be made available to a designated Recipient in accordance with the User’s configured instructions after the Inactivity Period and Final Disclosure Waiting Period have expired without a response.
3.1 U⁺MOSHIMO is a digital-vault and information-disclosure platform. It enables Users to store Registered Data, designate Recipients and configure a Disclosure Workflow through which specified Registered Data may be made available in accordance with the User’s instructions and the processes described in this Policy and the Terms of Use.
3.2 The Service does not independently determine or certify that a User has died, become legally incapacitated, is missing, is uncontactable for any reason or is unsafe. A lack of recorded activity or failure to respond is an operational trigger used to carry out the User’s configured instructions and is not a medical, legal or factual determination by us.
3.3 The Service discloses information only. It does not transfer legal title, ownership, control or entitlement in relation to money, financial accounts, cryptocurrency, digital assets, property or other assets.
3.4 The Service is not a will, codicil, trust, nomination, probate service, estate-administration service, power of attorney, medical directive, emergency-monitoring service, financial service, payment service, cryptocurrency wallet, digital-asset exchange or custodial service. It does not replace any document or process that must satisfy legal formalities.
3.5 Registered Data remains owned by the User or other relevant rights holder. We do not acquire ownership of Registered Data merely because it is submitted to, stored through, processed by or disclosed through the Service. Disclosure to a Recipient does not by itself transfer ownership or other rights in the Registered Data.
3.6 The Service may use blockchain or distributed-ledger technology as part of its security and integrity-verification architecture. Registered Data itself is not stored on a blockchain. Limited technical records, such as cryptographic hashes, timestamps or verification references, may be recorded to support integrity verification, auditability and the detection of unauthorised or unexpected changes.
3.7 Users and Recipients are not required to own or connect a cryptocurrency wallet, and the Service does not hold, control, transfer or take custody of cryptocurrency or other financial assets.

We do not sell Personal Data or use Registered Data for advertising.
We will not collect, use or disclose Personal Data for a materially different purpose without first providing any notice and obtaining any consent required under applicable law.
7. Consent and Permitted Processing
7.1 Where required under applicable law, we will obtain consent before collecting, using or disclosing Personal Data, unless the collection, use or disclosure is otherwise required or permitted under the PDPA or other applicable law.
7.2 Consent may be expressly given or deemed to have been given in circumstances permitted under the PDPA. We may also collect, use or disclose Personal Data without consent where required or permitted under the PDPA or other applicable law.
7.3 Depending on the circumstances, we may collect, use or disclose Personal Data:

7.5 Before acting on a withdrawal of consent, we will inform the individual of the likely consequences. Withdrawal will not affect any collection, use or disclosure lawfully carried out before the withdrawal takes effect.
7.6 If the withdrawn consent relates to Personal Data that is necessary to create or maintain an Account, authenticate the User, secure the Service, operate the Disclosure Workflow or otherwise provide the Service, we may be unable to continue providing some or all the Service. Depending on the scope of the withdrawal, the User may need to stop using the Service or delete the Account.
7.7 After the withdrawal takes effect, we will cease, and where applicable require our data intermediaries and agents to cease, collecting, using or disclosing the affected Personal Data, unless continued collection, use or disclosure without consent is required or permitted under the PDPA or other applicable law.
7.8 We may retain Personal Data after consent is withdrawn where retention is required or permitted under applicable law or remains necessary for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, audit, dispute-resolution or claims-related purposes.
8. Users Without Full Legal Capacity
8.1 The Service is available to individuals of any age and does not impose a general minimum age for registration or use.
8.2 A User who does not have the legal capacity to accept the Terms of Use or provide valid consent may use the Service only with the involvement, consent or authorisation of a parent, legal guardian or other person validly acting on the User’s behalf, where required by applicable law.
8.3 By registering for an Account, the User represents that the User has the legal capacity and authority required to accept the Terms of Use and provide any consent required in connection with the Service, or that any required consent or authorisation has been obtained.
8.4 The Service generally applies the same Account, privacy and security arrangements to all Users and does not provide a separate child-specific version of the Service.
8.5 Except where required by applicable law or reasonably necessary for verification, we do not independently verify a User’s legal capacity or whether any required consent or authorisation has been obtained.
8.6 Nothing in this section limits any obligation or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Safety Check, Recipients and Disclosure Workflow
9.1 A User who provides Personal Data relating to a Recipient or another individual is responsible for ensuring that the User is authorised to provide that information and, where required under applicable law, has provided any necessary notice and obtained any necessary consent.
9.2 The User is responsible for ensuring that each Recipient’s identity, contact details and designation are accurate, current and appropriate. We do not independently verify a Recipient’s identity, relationship to the User, authority or legal entitlement to receive Registered Data.
9.3 Each User configures one Inactivity Period and one Final Disclosure Waiting Period for the User’s Account. The User may designate one or more Recipients and specify the Registered Data to be made available to each Recipient.
9.4 The Service may send Safety Check and reminders through in-app push notifications, email, and any other communication channels that may be made available from time to time. We may record delivery, response and non-response events for operational, security, audit and compliance purposes.
9.5 If no further activity is recorded during the Inactivity Period and the User does not respond to the applicable Safety Check before the Final Disclosure Waiting Period expires, the Service may proceed with the Disclosure Workflow in accordance with the User’s configured instructions, the functionality of the Service and applicable law.
9.6 Recorded inactivity and non-response are operational triggers only. We do not investigate or independently determine whether the User is deceased, incapacitated, missing, unsafe or otherwise unable to respond. They do not constitute proof of the User’s physical condition, safety, capacity, location or legal status.
9.7 Where the Disclosure Workflow proceeds, the Registered Data assigned by the User to each Recipient may be made available to that Recipient. Different Registered Data may be assigned to different Recipients.
9.8 We may delay, limit, suspend or refuse a disclosure where:
required by applicable law or an enforceable court, governmental or regulatory requirement;
there is credible evidence of fraud, impersonation, unauthorised access or Account compromise;
a security incident or technical failure prevents secure disclosure.
9.9 Where the User’s Subscription has ended:
if the User continues to respond to Safety Check or otherwise confirms continued activity, the Disclosure Workflow may be discontinued; or
if the User does not respond to the applicable Safety Check, the Disclosure Workflow may continue in accordance with the User’s previously configured instructions
9.10 Safety Check, response and non-response detection, initiation of the Disclosure Workflow and Recipient notifications may be performed automatically according to the User’s settings and the rules of the Service. We do not conduct a human review of the contents of Registered Data before the Disclosure Workflow proceeds.
9.11 Human review or intervention may occur only where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, Account compromise, security incidents, technical failures, legal restrictions or other exceptional circumstances. Any such review or intervention does not involve independently verifying the Recipient or making a legal, medical, financial or other professional judgment about the User or Recipient.
9.12 We may maintain records relating to the Inactivity Period, Final Disclosure Waiting Period and Disclosure Workflow, including Safety Check, response and non-response events, Recipient invitations and notifications, Registered Data assignments, disclosure status, access events and workflow outcomes, for operational, security, audit, dispute-resolution and legal-compliance purposes.
9.13 Once Registered Data has been disclosed to, downloaded by or copied by a Recipient, the Recipient is responsible for securing and using that information lawfully. We may not be able to retrieve, delete or control copies retained by the Recipient.
9.14 Additional rules concerning the modification, cancellation, delay, suspension or completion of the Disclosure Workflow are set out in the Terms of Use and any applicable settings or notices presented through the Service.
10. Sharing and Disclosure
We may disclose Personal Data in the following circumstances:
10.1 to a Recipient designated by the User, in accordance with the User’s instructions, the Disclosure Workflow, the Terms of Use and applicable law;
10.2 to service providers and data intermediaries that process Personal Data on our behalf to host, operate, maintain, secure or support the Service;
10.3 to courts, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, governmental authorities or other persons where required or permitted by applicable law, legal process or an enforceable order;
10.4 where reasonably necessary and permitted by law to prevent or investigate fraud, address unauthorised access or security incidents, protect legal rights, property, life, health or safety, or maintain the security and integrity of the Service;
10.5 where reasonably necessary in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset transfer or other transfer of the Service or business, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards;
10.6 to another person in the direction of the User or with the relevant individual’s consent; or
10.7 as otherwise required or permitted by the PDPA or other applicable law.
10.8 Where we engage service providers or data intermediaries to process Personal Data on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to require them to:
protect Personal Data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss, destruction or similar risks;
process Personal Data only for purposes authorised by us and in accordance with our instructions;
restrict access to personnel who require it for those purposes; and
notify and assist us in relation to security incidents or other matters where required by contract or applicable law.
We do not authorize service providers or data intermediaries to use Personal Data for their own unrelated purposes. Our use of such parties does not remove our responsibility for Personal Data processed on our behalf, to the extent required under the PDPA.
11. Cross-Border Transfers
11.1 The Service may involve the storage, access, use, disclosure, processing or transfer of Personal Data in Singapore, Japan and other countries or regions where our service providers, Recipients or business operations are located.
11.2 A User may designate a Recipient located outside Singapore. By designating that Recipient and assigning Registered Data to the Recipient, the User directs us to disclose the assigned Registered Data in accordance with the User’s instructions, the Disclosure Workflow, the Terms of Use and applicable law.
11.3 Availability of the Service may vary by country or region. A Recipient located outside Singapore or Japan may be unable to download, register for or access the Service if U⁺MOSHIMO is not available through the Recipient’s applicable App Marketplace.
11.4 Where we transfer Personal Data outside Singapore, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the transferred Personal Data receives a standard of protection that is at least comparable to the protection required under the PDPA, unless an applicable exception or exemption applies.
11.5 These steps may include contractual, organizational and technical measures, or other legally recognized mechanisms, to protect Personal Data transferred outside Singapore in accordance with applicable law.
12. Device Technologies and Permissions
12.1 We may use software development kits (SDKs”), local storage, application logs, similar technologies to:
authenticate Users and maintain sessions;
operate, secure and support the Service;
remember settings and preferences;
deliver notifications;
measure performance and diagnose technical issues; and
detect fraud, unauthorised access or security risks.
12.2 The Service may request access to device functions such as notifications, the camera, photographs, media or files where required for a feature selected by the User. The purpose of the requested permission will be presented through the Service or the device interface.
12.3 Users may manage device permissions through their device settings. Disabling a permission may limit or prevent the relevant feature from functioning.
12.4 We do not use SDKs, local storage or similar technologies to analyze the contents of Registered Data for behavioral or targeted advertising.
13. Security and Access to Registered Data
13.1 We implement reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Data and Registered Data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss, destruction or similar risks.
13.2 These measures may include:
access controls and permission management;
authentication and multi-factor authentication;
encryption in transit and at rest, where appropriate;
logging, monitoring and audit controls;
secure software-development practices, vulnerability testing and remediation using non-production data or appropriately anonymized test data;
service-provider and contractual controls; and
staff confidentiality obligations and access restrictions.
13.3 We do not access, monitor, inspect or review the contents of Registered Data in the ordinary course of operating the Service. Our systems may automatically store, transmit, verify and disclose Registered Data without personnel viewing its contents.
13.4 Access to the contents of Registered Data by our personnel is restricted and may occur only where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, an enforceable court or governmental order, a binding regulatory requirement, or to address a security incident, technical failure or suspected Account compromise. Such access will be limited to authorised personnel and to the extent reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
13.5 Access to and management of Registered Data are controlled through the User’s Account, authentication controls and other security measures implemented by the Service. Blockchain or distributed-ledger technology may support integrity verification and the detection of unauthorised or unexpected changes, but does not by itself prevent all unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.
13.6 No method of storage, transmission or security protection is completely secure. Although we take reasonable steps to protect Personal Data and Registered Data, we do not guarantee absolute security or that every security incident can be prevented.
14. Data Retention, Subscription Expiry and Account Deletion
14.1 We retain Personal Data and Registered Data for as long as reasonably necessary to:
provide and administer the Service;
maintain the User’s Account;
operate the Inactivity Period, Final Disclosure Waiting Period and Disclosure Workflow;
maintain security and prevent fraud or unauthorised access;
comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
resolve disputes and enforce agreements; and
maintain necessary business, audit and transaction records;
We will cease retaining Personal Data or remove the means by which it can be associated with an identifiable individual, when it is reasonable to conclude that the purpose for which the Personal Data was collected is no longer served by its retention and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
14.2 The cancellation, expiry or termination of a Subscription does not by itself delete the User’s Account or Registered Data. Registered Data may continue to be stored unless the User deletes the relevant data or deletes the Account. Subscription cancellation and Account deletion are separate actions.
14.3 A User may manage or cancel a Subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancelling a Subscription through the applicable app marketplace does not constitute a request to delete the Account.
14.4 A User may request Account deletion through the functionality provided in the Service. We may take reasonable steps to authenticate the request and protect the Account against unauthorised or fraudulent deletion.
14.5 When an Account is deleted, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize the Personal Data and Registered Data associated with the Account, unless continued retention is required or permitted for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, audit, dispute-resolution or other legitimate business purposes.
14.6 Deleting the Account will stop future Safety Check and cancel any Disclosure Workflow that has not already been completed, subject to the Terms of Use and applicable law.
15. Accuracy and Privacy Rights
15.1 We take reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Data in our possession or under our control is accurate and complete where it is likely to be used to make a decision that affects an individual or disclosed to another organization.
15.2 Users are responsible for ensuring that information provided through the Service is accurate, complete and reasonably up to date, including Account details, Recipient information and disclosure settings. Users should promptly update or remove information that is no longer accurate or applicable.
15.3 We may carry out authentication or other checks where reasonably necessary for Account security, fraud prevention or the operation of the Service. Such checks do not guarantee that information provided through the Service is accurate, current or authentic.
15.4 Subject to the PDPA and other applicable law, an individual may request:
access to Personal Data about the individual that is in our possession or under our control;
information about how that Personal Data was used or disclosed by us during the one-year period before the request; and
correction of an error or omission in that Personal Data.
Where required by the PDPA, we will make the applicable correction as soon as practicable and provide the corrected Personal Data to relevant organizations to which it was disclosed during the one-year period before the correction, unless an applicable exception applies.
15.5 An individual may withdraw consent to our collection, use or disclosure of Personal Data by giving reasonable notice, subject to the consequences and limitations described in Section 7.
15.6 An individual may also delete Registered Data or request Account deletion through the functions available in the Service. Account deletion will be handled in accordance with Section 14 and is separate from the statutory access and correction rights described above.
15.7 Requests may be submitted using the applicable functions of the Service or the contact details in Section 19. We may request information that is reasonably necessary to verify the requester’s identity, confirm the requester’s authority to act for another individual, or clarify the scope of the request. We may refuse, limit or defer a request where required or permitted by applicable law.
15.8 We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Where permitted under the PDPA, we may charge a reasonable fee for an access request and will provide an estimate before processing it. An individual may also submit a privacy complaint to us or contact the Personal Data Protection Commission where appropriate.
16. Service Communications
16.1 We may send communications necessary to operate, secure and administer the Service, including communications relating to:
Account security and authentication;
Safety Check;
the Disclosure Workflow;
Subscriptions and payments;
maintenance, outages and technical issues;
changes to the Service, Terms of Use or this Policy; and
legal or regulatory matters.
16.2 Users may manage certain notification preferences through the Service or their device settings. Disabling notifications or another communication channel required for a feature may limit or prevent that feature from operating correctly, including the delivery of Safety Check and the operation of the Disclosure Workflow.
16.3 Communications necessary for Account security, legal or regulatory compliance, or the operation of an active Service feature may continue while the Account or relevant feature remains active.
17. Data Breach and Security Incident Response
17.1 If a suspected or confirmed Personal Data breach or security incident occurs, we will take reasonable steps to contain, investigate and remediate the incident, assess its nature and potential impact, preserve relevant evidence, and reduce the risk of further harm.
17.2 We will assess whether a Personal Data breach is notifiable under the PDPA and other applicable laws.
17.3 Where notification is required, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission, affected individuals or other relevant authorities within the applicable timeframes and in the manner required by law.
18. Changes to this Policy
18.1 We may amend this Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, technology, applicable law, regulatory guidance or our handling of Personal Data.
18.2 Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service, by email, on our website or by another appropriate method. The notice will state when the updated Policy takes effect.
18.3 Where an immediate change is reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, security or operational reasons, the updated Policy may take effect upon publication or notification.
18.4 Users should review notified changes to this Policy. Continued use of the Service after an updated Policy takes effect constitutes acknowledgement of the updated Policy, subject to applicable law.
18.5 Where a change introduces a materially new purpose or processing activity for which consent is required under applicable law, we will provide the required information and obtain the necessary consent before carrying out that processing. Continued use of the Service alone will not be treated as consent where express or separate consent is required.
